2019 Chevrolet Equinox towing
I own a 2019 equinox. I towed it the first time a few days ago. I had a dead battery after towing about 5 hours. I had a pro install a road master wiring kit and charge wire. I installed a road master Brakemaster brake also. I used the owner manual under towing and followed it exactly. I turned off my radio,info system, and lights. I had the car towed to the Chevy dealer, they charged the battery and found a problem with the brake module, they rebooted the computer and the car started and everything is ok with the car. What they didn’t know was what caused the problem. I would like to be sure I won,t have a problem again when I head cross country. I am considering purchasing a new tow bar do to age of my present tow bar. the old one is a 10 year old Blue Ox and it works fine no rust or damage. But I am little worried about metal fatuge. I need help.I own a 2015 fleetwood discovery (40G). I need to know the exact location of the inverter on/off switch.
