Even one of the 50/50 extension cords had trouble. I saw another camper with a 50/50 extension plug that didn't bend at a 90 degree angle. Just plugged into the outlet and came straight out a couple inches making it easier to plug in his RV cord. I've searched on line for a supplier but can't find a similar plug. Unfortunately the man that had it left the site before I could find out where he bought it. Anybody seen a plug like I described. Thanks.Re: air conditionersThanks, Fred. A very helpful explanation.Re: air conditionersI can try plugging into shore and waiting for the surge protector to flip over before turning off the generator. If I set the temp high and don't turn off the climate control, it might work. Thanks.Re: air conditionersI will try leaving more time when changing power sources and setting the temp high during the power switch is a great idea. Still shouldn't they have turned on after waiting an hour or two. I had to wait overnight before the AC would turn on again.air conditionersMy last two outings I've had trouble with the ACs on my 2003 Country Coach Intrigue. When I leave home where I'm plugged into 50 amp, I turn on the generator, then the AC, then unplug the shore power. The AC units function fine during the trip. When I get to the campground, I turn off the AC, turn off the generator, and plug into 50 amp shore power. After the internal surge protector fips over and electric comes into the coach, I turn on the AC but the compressors don't start. The fans work fine. I've tried resetting the comfort control unit. Tried using generator power again. Checked all the circuit breakers. Nothing helped. I used fans during the night. In the morning I turned on the AC and they both started right up and worked perfectly all weekend. Has anybody has this problem?Pilot ToadI'm considering buying a 2011 Honda Pilot to tow behind my 2003 Country Coach Intrigue. One Honda salesperson told me Pilot's shouldn't be towed and said I should get a CRV. I don't care for the CRV. Has anybody had experience towing a Pilot?Re: Entry stepsWhere would I find the magnetic switch? What does it look like? Thanks.Entry stepsI have a 2003 Country Coach Intrigue. I'm having trouble with the entry steps going in and out at will, even when I'm driving. This just started a couple days ago. Prior to that they operated correctly. I have a friend that also has a Country Coach with the same problem. Any ideas what the cause could be? Thanks.
