Girard Tankless Water Heater III - Error E7
Hey folks. TLDR: Getting an E7 error code on our tankless water heater, except sometimes it's an E1 code and sometimes it's an E2 code. What's the problem and how do we fix it? We've been using our water heater with no problem as full-timers for almost 4 years. Finally, we moved out of the trailer and winterized it for the first time. We used an air compressor to blow it out as recommended and left for a few months. Now we're back in the trailer for a month and suddenly, for the first time, it's not working. We got the water hooked up and ran everything through the lines but when we switched on the water heater, it threw us E7. We tried turning it off and back on again, cleared the propane lines by running the stove and the furnace, and everything else is working great. The water heater kept throwing E7, except a few times that it would start working and get hot, and then suddenly throw an E7 again. Sometimes it throws an E1 or E2 instead of an E7, but it seems random. We've been testing it periodically by turning on the hot water and getting these different codes every time. Obviously, something is going on with the propane connection or flow that is preventing or stalling ignition, but since the error codes are vague, I don't know how to fix it, aside from ordering a new part (some kind of valve?) and taking it all apart, which I really don't want to do. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any troubleshooting or fix suggestions? Thanks in advance.2.4KViews2likes2CommentsHave TTs gotten any better?
My husband and I full timed for 5 years in a 34' Cougar and loved it. When we finally planted, we tried a TT with sway bars for all of about 2-3 trips and hated it. We're now looking at a Arctic Fox 29-5K fifth wheel for more elbow room. Before we take the plunge, has anything improved in travel trailer towing?987Views1like9Comments- 774Views0likes8Comments
Slide out bound up
Please help!!! We moved our 1997 Fleetwood wilderness after starting in one place for 6 months. She gave us a little trouble bringing in the slide. We had to use a jack under the slide to wiggle her in. When we got to our new spot we tried to extend the slide and the bottom didn't move. We checked underneath and found nothing out of order. Then we noticed the floor if the slide on the inside. The corners are extended upwards and the middle is flush with the floor. We think the slide jumped off the tracks due to the new gap on the side. Can anyone please guide me on what to do next? we are still fairly new at living in our trailer. We're remodeling and living in it at the same time so please excuse the mess.473Views1like2CommentsCan the padded header over interior door be removed?
I have a Jayco Jayfeather and I need to remove the padded header above the door in the interior (so I can put a bracket to reinforcemy door opener). I removed the three screws that I thought were holding it on, but I've been pulling and pushing, but it won't budge! Is there any way to remove this without damaging it?361Views0likes1CommentTrouble turning my RV
Hello my name is Jazmin, my family and I just bought a 2007 Arctic Fox 990 “Silver Fox Edition’’ we bought it from a local family. Everything from the inside is in good condition, we struggle to learn how to use all the appliances because they didn’t have the manual book that comes with all the information. Right now we’re struggling on the switch to turn on the generator!! We try it few times and yes it turned on perfectly but today we did the game thing ( press the start button and push the little butterfly)it made a sound like it was about to turn on but then it stopped. It didn’t work at all! , I have looked everywhere( on the internet) to see if I can find a way to give us tips or show us what to do. Our general is Onan 2500 camp power, can anyone recommend any good resources that would help us with this situation!! I hope my message makes sense Thank you222Views1like11CommentsIdentify water heater
Looking at a used 2010 K-Z trailer. The owner passed away and his family is trying to sell it. But the owner's son and I couldn't get the water heater to work. Can anyone tell me where I could find information on this water heater and how to operate it? Thanks216Views1like9CommentsHissing noise

It has a pop up tent like feature on the front of it. And this runs off a generator also but the noise is coming from the breaker box and when I turn the stove light on it gets quieter... Same as the sink light and radio either way when I turn something on the noise gets quieter what can I do to fix this?? First time, I apologize for the long post. I hope I can get some insight, because I am completely lost. I have an outlying shop that I installed a 50 amp outlet to using a 50 amp box with 6/3 copper wire. Testing it with a multimeter I get 120 on each leg and 240 combined, as well as 120 from the main breaker and 50 amp breaker. However, when I plug in my 50 amp surge protector it shows an error of "E2: Voltage over 132V". The weird thing is, when I plug my protector into a 50/30 dog bone with the 15 adapter the surge protector turns on with no issue showing 119V so I dont believe it's the protector. Any suggestions would be appreciated because after checking and changing neutrals and grounds and checking the same things over and over, I have no idea the next step and I really dont want to spend thousands having a company wire something in. TIA. For context I have a new GEARGO RV-04 50 amp surge protector.99Views1like8Comments
