perhaps a close dryer but still likely they just think they need 50 because that is the hookup they have.

As far as Chignecto north CG you will not find a nicer federal CG IMO.

Sites are very large and level. Roads are wide. Bathrooms are immaculate. Kitchen shelters are actual buildings great for having a nice sit down dinner in. Very well lit paths.

Fundy Headquarters park closes on Sep 7th. Fundy Chignecto is open until Oct 12, has full hookups including 50 amp, but both back-in and pull-thru sites are listed as 20X50. It's 500 miles/800 kilometers from Arcadia to Baddeck. There are campgrounds both in NB and NS that are about halfway between Arcadia and Baddeck, 50 amp, big enough for you if you want to split the trip. It's 302 miles/500 kilometeres from Chignecto to Baddeck. If your campground is Baddeck RV, we are booked there for a week in September. They had no problem with our 39' pusher with toad, full hookups including 50amp. They close on Oct 15th. It is As has been said, you will not need 50amp power. We are at a 30amp site on PEI, have been here almost a month with no problem. They close on Oct 15th. We are planning to use Baddeck as a base camp and take day trips around the Cabot Trail.

Two places we stayed enroute to Cape Breton back in 2008 were Loch Lomond RV Park in Amherst NS, just over the border from NB. They are open until 9/31. The other was Whidden Park in Antigonish NS. They are open until 10/15.

700km drive to the Cabot trail would make for a grueling second day IMO

I mention Fredericton because I stayed in a cg there in late October. The reason it was open was that there were people who had gotten jobs in that city, while their families lived somewhere else in New Brunswick. So, they brought the rv to where there work was.

on edit: why would you need 50 AMPs?...you will not be running A/C units I guarantee you that.

Fundy national (Chignecto North) will accommodate you perfectly. if they are open
