Another question about Florida turnpikes

This question might have been asked before so sorry if I missed it.
On our long trip from Bullhead City to Florida this year we will be traveling on Florida's turnpikes. I have heard of you all speaking of Sunpass so I pulled it up. When ordering the 4.99 window sticker they want a license plate number. I am assuming they will want the motorhome plate. Is this right even if towing a car? And what if we just take the car out? Is the sticker able to be moved from the MH to the car? Or do we need to purchase two stickers? Don't know if we will need one for the car but just looking ahead and want to plan. I was more concerned about the towing situation.

Thanks,
Janet
  • The sticker will go in the MH. They will automatically charge the extra amount for the car being towed. If you're going to drive the car by itself on the turnpike you would need another sticker. Don't attach that sticker to the windshield. If you do then you'll be charged twice when towing the car. Remove the sticker from the car when towing and stash it away, wrapped in aluminum foil wouldn't hurt.
