If you do I-75 thru Atlanta just be patient and time it to miss any rush hour times. Its always busy no matter what time but it is do-able. Google maps shows a lot of construction work going on in the north bound lanes but I don't know the exact situation. You might take the 285 bypass as it isn't showing much construction on it.
The construction work going on is adding toll lanes north of I285. Should not be a issue.ADAD437 wrote:
the bypass takes you way out of the way and is rough, not to mention all the trucks have to use it. i always go straight thru, just time when you hit there.
X2 this. I too go straight thru, but anything can happen on any given day. - ADAD437Explorerthe bypass takes you way out of the way and is rough, not to mention all the trucks have to use it. i always go straight thru, just time when you hit there.

- Teeshot1939ExplorerIs 75 thru Atlanta usually a problem?
- TripalotExplorerX2 that's the route we take to Florida. Dothan is a bit of a nuisance but taking the East ring route works out reasonably well. Going straight thru Dothan is nothing but traffic and stop lights.
- ken56ExplorerIf it were me, I would take 10 over to 231 then up to Dothan and on to Montgomery and pick up 65 all the way into Nashville.
