Every bit of 36 when you start to get close to Denver jump off I-70 (Limon) and take Rt 24 (exit 359?) will run you right into The Springs, and 24 is a good road.
Keep an eye on your engine oil - and your tire pressure - sure do not need to lose hours with issues.
Will you do anything other than visit Colorado Springs?
