- loggenrockExplorerCheck out Taps RV Park http://www.ashevilletapsrvpark.com/ - wasn't big and fancy, but we found it clean and quiet and reasonably priced. Many big rigs in there when we visited. ST
- twins89ExplorerWe stayed at Hominy Valley in Chandler NC, about 7 or 8 miles from Asheville. Very convenient to BRP, Asheville and roads leading to parts of Tennessee. No frills but great hook ups and it only is about 7 or 8 sites. Reasonable and the owner likes long term stays 2 weeks to 3 months. Check it out if you want something quiet.
- TerryallanExplorer IIGoogle is your friend. 95% of the good CGs are on Google. They will have pictures, directions, and rates. Easy to find the one you want.
- padredwNomadNo comment on the cost as we are "daily residents" but there are a couple of nice parks next to each other on US 276 (near Waynesville and Camp Junaluska: Creekwood Farms and Pride. We have never stayed at Pride but several times at Creekwood. There are several other good campgrounds in this same area--and on up into Maggie Valley, but we always stay at Creekwood, so I have no experience with any of these others.

Hi all,
We may be in the Asheville, NC area for a month or so starting around March 26th. Any recommendations for an RV park in the area? We need big rig friendly and would like the rate to be around 350.00 or less.
I might be wrong but I don't know of any cgs there that run that cheap. If they do, you might not want to be around the residents.
Try Mama Gerties; nice cg and convenient to everything. Here's the link http://www.mamagerties.com/pages/info/info.html
