It's ALL relative, mostly derived from personal experience. Where we go there are no other RV's, unless they are with us. We did see one 4WD suburban coming down as we were ascending. I hope he had good brakes with the auto trans. One of the trailheads going up Telephone Cyn. out of Bishop read:
Four wheel drive ONLY. Low range. High Clearance.
and so it was. Here is bro John coming down that telephone line access road to the Bristlecones.
And us coming up:
and me coming down. Not too wide, huh? Going up this road both diesel 6 speed manuals were in low range, low gear for about 1-1/2 hours. Incessantly steep.
Didn't see too many MoHo's on this stretch.
regards, as always, jefe
