Hi Sue
We did both seasonal and transient there, out last trip was in 06. Witch Meadow is a better campground if you are a younger camping family with kids. The lake front sites are nice, water, electric & gray water. Campground is clean and decently maintained, some sites are not very level or large and some sites might be tough to get into with the larger RV's but I think you will be okay with your hybrid. Don't count on any decent fishing in the lake...bullheads and sunnys that's it.
Owner doesn't pull any punches, She will not tolerate any trouble makers. (There's a reason why she's called the head witch ;) ) That said as long as you use common sense you should be fine.
If your looking for something quiet by a lake, look into this also, West Thompson Lake Campground
Post back or send me a PM if you have any pacific questions on Witch Meadow lake campground
