- DaYooperExplorerLarryJM, nice work. I did something similar but my artistic skills aren't quite as good. I have had good success with the tape and recently did nearly all of my caulked areas on the roof. Areas I had fixed with Dicor just two years ago was cracked again and needed replacement on my rig so I taped everything I could get too and always have tape with me just in case.
Can't comment on the longevity with the recent repairs but know it was holding well after a few years on our last trailer

If you already have the eternabond, that is what I would use.
I have a roll of eternabond, but it's only about 2" wide. Just ordered some Dicor - BeakerExplorerWas thinking of sending pictures of mine but they are almost the same as Larry.
I think that the key to Eternabond is roll, roll, roll, and roll again. - 93Cobra2771Explorer

Spoken like someone that doesn't know how to install something as you call "CORRECTLY" and I'll take my job done almost 8 years ago that still looks the same as below that much later over anything you can show me using Dicor ....>

Very nicely done! Love the work around the antenna. I'll have to take a pic of the dicor sculpted masterpiece from the factory that I have. Was trying to work out how to handle mine and you have given me inspiration. - 93Cobra2771ExplorerIf you already have the eternabond, that is what I would use.

- cwitExplorerDicor also makes a great tape. I use all divorce products.
- Romer1ExplorerThanks for all the replies. Probably will use Dicor.

Both should work depending upon the situation. I prefer Dicor self-leveling for all my roof maintenance but which ever you choose the preparation is the most important thing to ensure you are happy with the results.
X2!
I replaced our rear vent with a fantastic fan. In removing the old it was not bedded in Dicor, the Dicor was flowed around the edge and over all screw heads. That the same way I replaced it.
I like good seals and something easy to inspect, tape can have all kinds of issues once applied, and looks like CR** when used around vents and skylights. Done correctly Dicor self-leveling sealant will do the job correctly.
