The trailer came with a factory installed quick connect and hose to run tank pressure to an appliance that uses a small high pressure bottle of gas.

:h Any quick connect gas fitting I've seen on any recreational vehicle has always been low pressure, 11" water column or ~ 0.5 p.s.i.

This one came with brass tee upstream of the regulator that had a the same connection type that small propane cylinder has. It also came with hose that has the invert(female)of that connection on one end and the same male connection on the other end that you would connect to the appliance, in this case a Q-1000 Weber gas grill.
So contrary to your claim this is
not a "quick disconnect gas fitting" but rather a 1"-20 threaded high pressure fitting, exactly the same used on 16.4 oz propane canisters and the Q series of Weber grills. Regardless that your trailer was supplied with a Stay Flow Adapter it's not intended by the manufacturer to be permanently installed and left in place while the trailer is in transit - mine in fact was labeled with a warning to this effect. Permanently installing a high pressure line as you've done will "work" but it certainly doesn't meet code. :R
