I made my own parallel cables so I doubt there is anything special about them... I just used 10 AWG stranded wire, and appropriate boxes, connectors and circuit breaker. Just plug in to two generators with standard 110 plugs (20A) fed into a box with a 30 amp socket. The generators sync up without any apparent problem.
