Looking for a switch for my LEDs...

I used small toggles for my in-cabinet lighting with LED panels. I don't want them powered everytime I open a cabinet. If you want that functionality, a small micro switch will do the job. There is very little current being passed to just one LED panel.

Jon, I don't know what rig you have but I have replaced some of the switches in my Bounder and the Signma switches are all rated for AC voltage as well as Dc. Sigma is one of the most common switches used in RVs.

I totally agree with you.I have no understanding as to how the switch would know the difference anyways. They are just metal contacts.... Jb

The main difference between AC and DC when it comes to switches is that when you turn a DC Circuit on and off you will get a small arc which will in time burn the switch out. Now, AC does arc but at a much lessor extent.

I have a couple of LED lights here in my Radio Room that come in handy when the power goes out.

The wife loves all of the battery operated different candle looking LED flicker lights. She has a whole bunch of those being used for night lights etc when we are camping... Most of these have the night sensor on them.

Thanks for the info, and yes, these are 12V DC.
