Replacement fan/vent opinions for 2016 Eagle 284BHBE

I was concerned about the factory bathroom vent assembly design from day one, dealer said they've had no issues with them but recently the mounting flange inside has cracked and the opening ports have developed a slight leak. We plan to keep this camper for another year or two and live in it while we build our new house. Rather than warranty the inferior vent assembly I am planning on replacing with an aftermarket fan with better air movement. I have done some research and see the MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe is highly rated but I am always leary about all of the fancy features and their longevity. Any recommendations or experiences with this fan or any others to be considered would be greatly appreciated.
  • Late updating this post but we installed a MaxxFan Deluxe 7500K as a replacement for the Jayco junk. We haven't camped with it but the install was straight forward and will be nice to have something serviceable that doesn't require removing roof sealant again. I did turn in the factory vent for warranty and apparently Jayco realized their shortcoming and my replacement assembly I received this weekend is a Fan-Tastic fan manual lift. This has been put on the shelf for a future project.

The Maxxair fan is awesome. Best upgrade for the buck out there and very durable.

Any particular model MaxxAir preferred? My wife would benefit from the style with remote but I'd like to keep costs down.

Just installed a Maxxair 4500K with remote in our new Coachmen. DW is vertically challenged, so the remote was a must. The Maxxair is quiet and moves a lot (900 cfm) of air.

This chart shows all the features of the various Maxxair fans.
