Sink Replacement

Length is an issue because the sink is angled in a corner so no extra room. I am trying to keep measurements as close to the old sink as I can. I'll cut out the old one and install a drop-in.

Is the length issue from the sink hole in the counter top?

If you have extra room for the sink, you can cut the solid surface counter top to a larger opening.

Another option is to contact a Corian installer, they may be able to build you a new sink to mount underneath the current opening or even repair your existing sink. Solid surface counter tops and sinks are simply glued together (although it takes glue designed for the material).

The 33" is too long.

33" wide x 19" Deep (this is front to back) and 6.5" bowl depth, bowls are 14" x 14".

You can take a look at the actual specs which have the drawing of the sink HERE

As far as "digging" what I meant was I had to search through the entire stores selection of stainless sinks in the boxes and READ the sizes. Store did not have this one on display it was on a shelf in the box.

If you can not locate it at your store then you could order it from Home Depot website.

The sink I posted is designed to fit in mobile home counter tops, it is only 19" from the front to the back.

Measure the front to back, if yours is 19" or less including the faucets then the one I linked should work for you. It is the one I used (ELKAY brand)and if I remember correctly I bought it at Home Depot. I had to DIG through all their sinks to find it.

I prefer having the sink with the faucets mounted to the sink due to water from the faucet laying on the counter top..

Dick, you might try looking for a "Bar sink". They are slightly smaller than the full kitchen sizes.

I've been trying to find a double stainless sink to replace the built-in one on our solid surface countertop. Built-in one cracked by the drain and I repaired it a few years ago but it is cracked again. Does anyone know where to get a custom sized sink. I haven't found a good replacement in the normal places (Lowes, HD, IKEA. plumbing supply stores, etc) due to the size.
