This is what they sent
Moderator edit to show picture.- It can also be a simple mistake as well. I have ordered things from ebay and local that when received were not correct or missing something. A simple email to the seller was all it ever took for me to have it straightened out.
- I have ordered three times from that seller. I have had excellent service and found them very accomadating. They don't ship to a PO Box. When I explained that my town only has PO Boxes they agreed to ship to me. I had asked several questions and they answered each time within 24 hours. Sounds like a simple mistake was made on your order.
- It was not a simple mistake on there part I could not get them to make it right and send me the correct leds I ordered. The part I ordered was clearly not what I ordered they know it the just wanted to play stupid with me. They went in and removed the picture of the leds from the order conformation so they knew exactly what they were doing and knew exactly what I ordered. I provided a picture of what I ordered and what they sent and they refused to honor that so order from these idiots if you wish I will not ever.
I was made whole the next day but had to open a case against them to get that done. - The only issue I have had with overseas orders has been the need to send back the parts.
In your case I suspect the seller would have replaced the items if you would have returned the wrong parts to them. Not easy when they are overseas.
In my experience, there are as many dishonest buyers as there are sellers on eBay and PayPal certainly favors the buyer in 99% of cases. In my 700+ transactions I can probably count the number of problem cases on the fingers of both hands so overall I have been very satisfied with both eBay and PayPal. - I just finished converting my entire RV to LEDs. I purchased a variety of units, from a variety of sellers, both on Amazon & eBay, some from US, most from overseas (Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines). No problems with any of them, the longest shipping time was 21 calendar days, but most overseas vendors got them to me within 15 calendar days. I did have one of the wedge base 5-5050 units that had a single LED out, but it was from a US distributor, and the cost ($1.75, free shipping) isn't worth losing sleep over, especially since those particular bulbs ended up not working for my intended application anyway.

Like usual I'm a day late. Just ordered from them yesterday. Did a search here tonight to see the different ways people secured them in the fixtures, then came upon this thread...
I ordered ten, 24-5050 panels, pure white for under $19. Suppose to get them by oct10. Time will tell how this seller treats me. I'll post back my results.
jmo- I got 10 of those from that vender. Got what I ordered. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong things. Wasn't his fault. Sitting in the closet now.
- From my similar experience with a seller, FleaBay won't back you and neither will their finance co. PayPal. When Fleabay rejects your claim the info goes to PayPal and your claim is instantly rejected there without review.
Fleabay is my absolute last resort for purchasing anything. They also recently sent out more new policy changes further restricting your rights. - That's exactly why I only order from domestic suppliers. They get their led's from the same place in China but when there is a problem it is easy to resolve.
I recently ordered 70 leds to replace the G4 halogens in my motorhome (yes 70). The first ones didn't work since the pins were too short. No problem shipping them back and getting a quick refund. The second set worked great.
