2019 Cedar creek champagne roof

I have had 3 5er's in the last 10 years and ALL of them have had bubbles on the roof here and there and it has never been a problem ,my Buddies newer 5er same thing it is no big deal and pretty normal

Laxnox. Well said. I can see before my warranty is up, I’ll be contacting my attorney. If it gets worse
My attorney will have more on our side. I wish people would start class action lawsuits and then maybe the RV business would have happy campers. The problem I see is they think money grows on trees. They charge enough,

My response to them would be, "while it's normal, it just shows the lack of care and professionalism by the people on the floor installing the roof, the supervisors who allow this, the QC people who pass it and the management who think this is 'perfectly normal'". IIRC, the Forest River =owners' manual= states that it's "normal" to see staples, nail and screw heads and CONSTRUCTION TRASH under the roof membrane. Can you imagine? They're so lazy that they can't even make sure staples, nails and screws are flush or to blow the sawdust and other stuff off the roof sheeting before they cover it with the membrane, and then state that's "normal"?! :M

I am on my 4th summer with mine, was up there the other day and NO bubbles... it was around 85 outside

Could always re-do the roof a aftermarket roof coating you see advertised in TL. Probly $$ to do, but from what I've seen, no issues w/ roof after it's done.

Ford guy, that’s exactly what I’m getting, but I’m told the membrane is only warrantied for ten years and not the glue. I have it documented with dealer and cedar creek,(Forest River). I guess this will be a waiting game. If it makes 5 years then it will be dealers problem when I trade.

i had this on my old trailer, and for all i know it could be happening on the new one too. Thing is the fix is to peel the rubber roof back re-glue it, and then re-caulk the entire entire roof, labor intensive, making it expensive. But, since it is a brand-new unit, I'd want this addressed as it could turn into a long-term issue. Good luck convincing the dealer/factory to get it done. let us know how this turns out.

my Redwood has a bunch of 3" or so bubbles that show up here and there... some days they are not there, other HOT days they are there until it cools a bit, then they go away..
Alpha roof, the dealer and the factory ALL say it is normal, they have ALL documented the issue in case i have issues going forward... They showed up during the first year.
