I guess I should have watched the video before I posted. I am now even more impressed with Anderson. I just may move to the new all aluminum hitch so my grandson can move the hitch while I drink beer!!

So why would the kingpin slam into the hitch? Looks like you would lower it down onto the ball. Also have you watched any of the video of people comparing slamming things into the new aluminum Ford truck beds compared to steel beds? The aluminum takes the abuse better.

It's interesting how people can make such negative comments about a product they've never tried or seen in action. I happen to have this hitch in my truck and I can tell you it is a great product. My 5'ver tows like a dream with this hitch and it's very easy to hook up!!
I have the B&W turnover ball installed as well. I originally had my mind set on the B&W Companion but when I saw the Anderson "Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection" I changed my mind. The hitch is extremely strong and rated to tow 24,000 lbs of trailer with 4,500 lbs. of pin weight. Another great feature is it only weights 75 lbs. and I can move it in and out of the truck all day if I need to.

Well guys I have the steel modle and LOVE it. I have had it for 6 months know. 4 trips. It's like Ford, Chev. Ram witch it the best. Ford is and Anderson is hehehe my view

No no no !-it will corrode -be expensive to repair - fold like a beer can etc etc
but hay, nice match for a 2015 F150.
