Andersen w/MorRyde Pinbox
I emailed Andersen about using this pinbox with their hitch and below is the response I received:
"With our setup we have not noticed a better towing experience with a
cushioned pin box over the static pin box. If you are going to use the MorRyde system we recommend that you use the block out kit they sell:
http://www.morryde.com/products/72-gooseneck-adaptor-kit?return=%2Fproduct-category%2F5-rubber-pin-box"
I'm looking at this GN adapter kit and am trying to figure out exactly what it does, or why it would be needed. Does this essentially turn the MorRyde into a static pinbox and remove any of the cushioning effect? If that is the case why would I go spend the money on this pinbox and effectively turn it into what I already have?
Am I missing something here?
