I would check into RayBestos or possibly AC Delco. Some of these companies have a PRO series.
I think if you went to RockAuto.com and put in the NAPA # it will show all other pads that match and I think they may show country of origin.
I was in the middle of the project when I picked up my pads or I would have looked further. If you find something let us know.
Will do.. Thanks- Cummins12V98Explorer III

A quick search on the NAPA UP-7136-M cross reference to Raybestos shows PGD215M. I have been wanting to get new pads for our trailer and swap them out the first chance I get for better pads. Guess I need to make sure the Raybestos PGD215M will fit before picking some up.
They will fit if cross referencing the NAPA pad you list. I took the number right off the box. Let me know if they are US Made. If so I will be going that route next pad change.
Ceramic are NOT always the best option. Quality Semi Metallic are for the RV disk brake application.
Don't forget to check your brake fluid often! Also be sure to use synthetic lube for all contact points and slide bolts on the calipers.
I just looked into getting replacement pads for my 8k Titan system.. the NAPA box part # UP-7136M shows made in Mexico... Not sure what to use now?

Something that don't make sense to me is that these pads are for a vehicle that weighs 5,000# and they are on an RV that has the possibility to be over 20,000#. If it has 17" wheels on it why not put a pad on it for a HD truck.
Guess what they are the same pad on the 8 and 9K MORryde IS system and possibly the 7K.
I was considering going to the 9K system but after seeing the pad is exactly the same and several other things I declined. The rotors, bearings and caliper are larger but same exact pad.
The fact that there are 4 wheels does make a difference. I for one would like to see a much larger pad with a double piston caliper.
Yes and there are 4 wheels on the vehicle they are designed for too. My boat trailer has pads that fit a Chevy Caviler. 3000+ pound car verses 5000 pound boat is a little closer than what they are putting on your RVs. Seems like one good hard stop and your pads would be crystallized so hard they wouldn't be very effective after that. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

Did you read what Kevin told me above?
I did and I would question why anyone who is representing a company would run down their own product.
I have put well over 20,000 miles on a set of Kodiak pads on my fiver and they still have a lot of wear left. And that was before they went to the ceramic pads.
Frankly, I trust Kodiak. I have converted three trailers to their products. Every product of theirs that I have used, and every communication with them about their products, has been top notch for me.
Outfits like Kodiak have a lot more expertise in areas like this than most of us will ever get. If Kodiak sells a product which they recommend as a replacement for an OEM part I have to believe it is a good part. - transamz9ExplorerSomething that don't make sense to me is that these pads are for a vehicle that weighs 5,000# and they are on an RV that has the possibility to be over 20,000#. Call Kodiak or got to trailer parts superstore. Kodiak pads are excellent IMO. They now use full ceramic pads.

Just compare a Kodiak pad to the United NAPA pad for example you will change your mind.
