- donn0128Explorer IIAnything like thay just seems like more crud to go wrong to me. Stick with the more basic would be my suggestion.
- fj12ryderExplorer IIIWe looked at theater seating at the furniture stores when we wanted to replace the loveseat in our toyhauler. We discovered that the seating position of the electrically controlled ones was different than the seating position of the manually controlled ones. It had to do with the angles of the seat back and the rise of the footrest. The manually controlled ones were more comfortable to me with more adjustments, fine tuning as it were. JMO of course.
- Bird_FreakExplorer IIAre you to lazy to flip a lever? just asking.
- Bessie-HunterExplorerWe have the power theater seating in our Riverstone and wish they were regular recliners.
- Winnebago_BobExplorerMore weight for no benefit IMO.
- djousmaExplorerWe have the power theater seats in our Cardinal, and love them. Recline a long way back, and are really comfortable.

I am looking to order a new Cedar Creek Hathaway Edition, and one of the options is power theater seats. Does anyone have this and think it's worth the upgrade. We looked at one at an RV show that had this. Was wondering what people that have it think. Thanks.
We have them in our 36CKTS, sorry to say but they are poorly built.
One thing I didn't think of prior is you have to have 110v to operate the mechanism, that's turned into a bummer a few times. - JW_of_Opechee_SExplorerFriends have them in their Cedar Creek Cottage and found that they tend to fall asleep in them too easily. One time they woke to find the campground had lost power from a storm and it took them quite a while to get out of the chairs. I have sat in them and they are very comfortable but don't think I would choose the power option.
- yellow_dogExplorerThe reason I'm asking is because I noticed the posioning of the electric ones were different then the manual ones.
- ACZLExplorerFrom my seat of the pants test, found that the elect ones recline farther back and if Lazy Boy recliners are used, you have to rock back to recline/lock it and use your feet to push foot rest all the way back in to lock that back into place.. Yes the power ones may have issues if power goes out, but I'd opt for the power ones cuz they are more comfy than manual recliners. Anything can break, so why would power seats deter you from getting something you want? Ask dealer the proverbial "what if" question if the power ones fail or you don't like them after awhile? What are the percentages of power ones failing? IDK either, but seems that most replies are against them.
