I would recommend insulating and skirting. Both relatively inexpensive and make a huge improvement in livability during the winter months here. While snow amounts can vary greatly year to year, the cold is always going to be here that time of year. While several nice days are normal, it is also normal to have several consecutive days where the temps never get above 5 degrees F. I lived in the Springs for a few years and saw the weather run the gamut. Anything you can do to help keep it warm inside, and keep tanks and water lines from freezing will help out.
