2yr Warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on in the RV industry. These warranties cover manufacturer defects for 2 years but do not include OEM components supplied by 3rd party manufacturers. 90% of an RV is assembled using 3rd party OEM components that carry (you guessed it) a1 yr warranty. This is the reason CR dropped the 2nd year a few years ago and instead offered an end of warranty inspection process that was supposed to ensure that everything was in working order when the assorted warranties expired. I'm not sure CR really executed that concept very well.
