- roller183ExplorerBBT, I re-searched plenty before buying an realized the tires performance was equal to Michelins per multiple people who had used them on heavy RV rigs.

I bought Bridgestone Duravis 250's on my 17K TH. I have not a problem with tires since...Over 3+ years ago.
They were $75 a piece cheaper then Michs.
Sometimes safety is not about the money.......
I'm sure you could've found some tires for $175 cheaper than the XPS Ribs, but, you get what you pay for?
He gets the exact same commercial grade all steel ply carcass LT tire as the XPS Rib tire at 75 bucks a tire cheaper.
Which one is the safest ??
I would say its a draw.
Agree the Duravis 250's are as good as the Michelin XPS RIBS, and less pricey....both safe tires.
Like comparing the GY G614's to the Sailun S637 tires...significant savings going with the Sailun's and they are gaining with a very good reputation...I was looking at a 3 axle Fuzion TH that had the Sailun tires on it...I will possibly purchase those over the G614's next time I need tires just because they are SO MUCH cheaper in cost....and I don't feel like I'll be sacrificing a thing.... - JIMNLINExplorer III

But don't take my word for it, look it up yourself before you go spend $1500-2000 on a set of tires. And be very disappointed 6 months later....
- JIMNLINExplorer IIIGoodyear Tire and Rubber .... weighing RVs
Special Considerations
Unless trying to resolve poor ride quality problems with an RV trailer, it is recommended that trailer tires be inflated to the pressure indicated on the sidewall of the tire. Trailer tires experience significant lateral (side-to-side) loads due to vehicle sway from uneven roads or passing vehicles. Using the inflation pressure engraved on the sidewall will provide optimum load carrying capacity and minimize heat build-up - roller183ExplorerYou can run the G614 goodyears and NOT at max PSI. they have a chart for the weight you have on the tire and air pressure needed.
At 110PSI,gives you 3750lbs per tire. You'd probably run 85-90 psi in them. - BigBlockTankExplorerI had a Gearbox 375FS, 39' toy hauler. As soon as I bought it, I put Michelin XPS ribs on all 6 wheels. When I sold it 4 years later, they were still on it, and looked to be in very good shape. Take that as you will, if I ever do another 5er, I'll have the same tires on it too.
- sunnybrooktoyhaExplorerHey! I put Firestone transforce on my tri axle 3 years ago. Great tire and will do it again. Good luck
