Figure $400 x 5 by the time you are done for Goodyear G-614's. Then you got another grand plus or minus for HD wheels that will take 110 psi, metal valve stems, mounting, balancing...

You really think that level of tires is needed for a 10K lb TT?
  • We just traded in a twenty-something (25?) toy hauler and for two people it was awesome (we didn't have the "private" queen bed). We were trying it with 5 people and sometimes two dogs.... So.... Didn't work.

I liked it a lot though. I admire Lance brand and this looks like a nice TH.

What kind of wheels and tires? I barely spent that much for 5ea 245/70R19.5 tires and wheels rated for 4500lbs ea.

The 19.5" conversion is really less than the 16" due to the fact there is a lot more competition as far as tire suppliers. Either way- 16/19.5 you are looking at 3k for wheels and tires.

  • I really like the trailer!
I wonder what the R values are for the floors, walls and roof.
However- why no 2nd a/c option? The unit should come with a 15k a/c with the option for an additional 15k unit. Why does it come with 15" wheels? Why no 16" wheel option?

Overall I really like the unit- I am ready to get something a little smaller. However, the minute I roll it out of the dealership I am into it for 3k for wheels and tires.

Lance has some great trailers out there, but a 26' overall length toyhauler is kinda small for a toyhauler. Perhaps customer demand will increase that by another 3-4 feet. . .

Maybe they can start making some fifth wheels too?

    Fred.

    It's almost 32' overall...
  • I think this trailer is awesome. Perfect length, can still use the majority of our local campgrounds, yet it not so large that I would have to put the front of the truck into the bushes to back into stalls.

This would be me next trailer if it had a walkaround bed.

I actually think that you'll start seeing more TH's this size. Seems like everyone I talk to lately would be downsizing if they could find a quality <30' trailer that still had lots of amenities (like this one). As my kids are getting a bit older, I can see the advantages to a smaller trailer.
  • Damn expensive too, but I must say, if you are planning on keeping a trailer long term, and are sick of seeing brand after brand pump out trailers that need repairs off the lot and are just slapped together, spend the extra $$ and get a trailer built by people who obviously care about what they are putting out there.
I am just happy to see a quality built trailer, and I hear they hold their resale value pretty good.
Yeah 26' may be small for some people, it's what I have now and it works fine, but I would like to see the weight/price on a 28' or 30' model.
There's a vid where they load a 4-seat razor no problem. That's a great selling point as that's prob the biggest thing most people stuff in there. The part I like is that even with 2 beds in the back, it fits under with room to spare.
I am surprised to see that they use 3 5-gal propane tanks, that's kind of odd, and I wonder where they put the batteries?
