- gwcampExplorerWouldn't use it either.
- TXicemanExplorer IIRubber or TPO roof ...NO WAY. Fiberglass or metal...NO.
Mop-N-Glo is designed as an indoor use product and will not stand up to the uV and weather.
Ken - JR45ExplorerIf you have a fiberglass roof it works great.

JR - mtofell1ExplorerEPDM rubber roofs are used in commercial applications with ZERO maintenance recommendations. Of course, it's a generally a good idea to keep debris off the surface to allow for proper water flow (shouldn't be a problem for an RV that rolls down the highway). All the cleaning products for RVs are complete snake oil.

On another forum, people were praising Mop & Glo for motor home roof. What about for 5er?
Check on the brand (see the posters sig) for the *type* of MH roof.
Prob *not* a rubber roof.
Another "no" vote.
~ - heaterswaExplorerSome soap and water, or Simple Green on the roof can help reduce the black streaks down the sides. Save the M&G for the front cap...
-Bryan - filrupmarkExplorerI would not use M&G on my roof. But many moons ago we had a yellow and green Prowler travel trailer and Mop and glow shined it up rite nice.

Sure glad I'm not alone in my opinion. I had a park trailer for 10 years. It sat outside year around in the rain and snow. Never washed it once. The rain and snow did that for me. Touched up the caulk as needed and stayed off of it. Never a problem. Nobody ever cared if it was clean or dirty...I kept the outside of the trailer clean and waxed and it looked as good as new when we sold it...I'm doing the same with my current fiver.
That has always bothered me; the constant need to have clean roof.
Why?
The constant scrubbing can wear it out.

I like the way you think. Keeping the sides clean and waxed is enough work! - B_O__PlentyExplorer II
