You are spending a lot of money so why not buy something you don't have to apply band-aids to??????
Get a 3500! I's not just an extra spring like the others. The 3500 is a totally different animal and worth every penny.
Look at the RV's GVWR take 25% that can easily be your pin weight! Just because it can TOW it does not mean it can CARRY it.
Listen to words of experience on this board, don't short change your self right out of the box. Everyone always buy bigger RV's.
