Wow I really feel dumb now. I just bought a new Ram 3500 Laramie DRW with a 14,000 GVWR to pull my little 29 ft 10k lb 5th wheel with 1600 lbs on the pin. I found out real quick going from a 2008 Ram 2500 to the 3500 DRW there is no comparison in stability. Oh and also the new truck rides better than the 2500 did and I don't even have the rear air system. You can max out a 2500 or have some reserve and feel more comfortable and safe. That's what I did and will never go back. Happy camping!
