So make them fix it. Reputable companies own up to their mistakes and make it right. In any endeavor things can go wrong. I just had my house reroofed and the installers nailed through my Brand new AC refrigerant line. It was an inconvenience for me to get an AC guy out at my house at 9 pm and repair it(no waiting in Florida in the summer) but it did get repaired and the roofing company paid for it. I could have gotten all upset and pitched a fit but the end result would not have changed. I communicated the issue, had the AC repair guy document the damage and the repair amount was deducted from the contract. As a manager of many people you will have these things happen, how it is communicated and addressed is what matters.
