danojeno,
I personally haven't used Discount tire even once nor would I for this reason. Several times over the last few years in CG's campers around the campfire have brought up the tire on RV's issues they've had with Discount Tire jacking up and bending their trailer's axles. I saw with my own eyes an obviously bent axle from the punk at Discount Tire jacking up the his TT (purchased new 4 year old TT that had not had any tire work done on it) with the jack under the center of the axle and there were marks on the axle to prove it. Bent up perhaps 2".
When the owner of the TT brought it back and complained to the Discount Tire manager, the manager claimed it was that way when he brought it in and they only jacked up under the springs but there was NO paint even scraped off or any witness marks from jacking. When he told the manager this, he claimed they'd used a 2X4 on top of the jackhead. Ya right! The TT owner walked over to the windowed door that goes into the shop area and asked why no one else is using the block of wood? The manager said "I'll guess i'll have to get after them!". A LIAR caught and still denied they bent the axle! The TT owner was from Missouri. Other stories of experiences were told also and I've yet to hear anyone say they'd had a very good experience with Discount Tire.
Glad you're happy with what they have done for you.
