Prodigy brake system
System is working. Worked for a while then I was able to use the manual lever, now nothing. Always reads n.c. Is there a way to check if its the wiring or the unit?

- I had a bad plug in the truck bed. It would work then going down the I would get NC. I findly took the truck to a hitch place. It was a 20.00 fix. I tried to find the problem for 2 months
- Last Summer my P3 would suddenly show "NC" (while driving in the North Georgia mountains) which gets your attention in a hurry.
Sprayed the female side of the 7-pin with contact cleaner from Radio Shack and solved the problem. - If I'm not mistaken the lever applies full power. So if there was a weak link in the system it would find it. Maybe fried a wire somewhere in the system due to corrosion, worn or loose connection, etc.

- I use some contact cleaner on the connections or even WD40 move plug in and out a few time I bet that solve the issue have that brand controler never misses a beat.
- And check the ground wires. Nine times out ten, it's a corroded ground wire.
- "NC" is no connection to the trailer.
Suggest you check the 7-pin for corrosion.
