Prodigy Trailer Brake Controller NC ?

So almost outta my track and the Prodigy Trailer Brake Controller reads NC Not connected? I get out and wiggle it to no avail. Long story short it was inside the connector from the trailer one of the prongs was buggered up.

    That is why it is always a good idea to carry a spare, both sides, just in case the damage, problem is more than a simple repair/cleaning can fix.

    I have had a spider get in and short the plug. That one blew 2 fuses in the truck.

    I just replaced one that had thin plating on one of the plugs. It started to corrode and the build up of oxidation shorted the plug.
