Stability with the DRW and maneuverability with the SRW. The RAM 3500 SRW has a payload cap I believe just a tad north of 4k pounds while the DWR is in the 7k range somewhere. If you are full timing the decision might lie with then FW that you choose.
Actually the Ram body builders guide tow rating are not based on a no options truck. The builders guide gives tow rating for all the cab models with the different SLT/Laramie or ST or Tradesman or Big Horn/Lonestar/etc packages.
The Ram 3500 SRW has GVWRs up to 12400 lbs with a 46XX lb payload all depending on cab selections.
The OP needs to use the Rams http://www.rambodybuilder.com/yearold.pdf to choose a 3500 SRW package that gives the best payload capacity and highest tow rating. Then get with a Ram truck dealer to get the proper truck ordered and then choose the camper to fit his 3500 SRW trucks capacities.
