Why are you comparing a 3500 4 x 2 SRW to a 3500 4 x 6 DRW? That is a big difference, what about a 3500 DRW without the four wheel drive? Height and ability to climb aboard should be similar? Dully will give better stability driving down the road as well as a safety measure with weights. 4 x 4 vs 4 x 6, again they should be about the same height!
