Now that is hilarious!!! I never laughed that hard for a long time... thank goodness one of my Grandchildren wasn't around when I watched it. My gosh that guy is going to stroke out over whether somebody's mirrors are out or in.... How funny
That was funny!
But i will wager he is one who leaves his trailer ball sticking out the back so someone can walk behind his truck and clip their shins. Then he would say they should not walk that close to his truck. - RVman3252Explorer

On my 98 RAM I added the flip up towing mirrors and I flipped them up when towing and left down running Bob Tail.
On my 11 Dually I flipped up to tow and they are needed in the up position with the wide body DRV. I tried folding them down and I don't like the spot mirror being vertical at the end of the mirror in the down position so I leave them up all the time. I think they look fine flipped up with a DRW.
Hey we agree ,that spot mirror is totally distracting in the down position , but I have to admit I'm slowly getting used to it .
Awesome!
With the 2nd gen mirrors the spot is in the corner and did not matter if the mirror was up or down. - cummins2014Explorer

agreed that the ram looks really dorky with the mirror up,but i cant back up/launch the boat without them up when the campers on.i tried leaving them up without the camper but they just look too ugly.wish they looked more like the ford.
I know they have the power mirrors now on the new Rams, but I assume they are for folding them in , or do they power them up ,and down too. Yes I repeat, they need to take a good look at the Ford mirrors, and have them simply power out for towing , and power fold up for parking, and put the darn small mirror in the bottom where it belongs, regardless of out for towing or not. Must be too complicated for them. :h - bcbouyExploreragreed that the ram looks really dorky with the mirror up,but i cant back up/launch the boat without them up when the campers on.i tried leaving them up without the camper but they just look too ugly.wish they looked more like the ford.
- C_SchomerExplorerEither way for me but I prefer them up for towing. I also turned the glass so the wide angle fish eyes are where I want them. Craig
