Only problem using a tire ramp is, that it over loads the other tire as all the weight is on one tire.
At 0 mph the load capabilities of a tire are more than capable. No heat generated which is what kills tires! - SkiSmuggsExplorerI was using a TrailerAid Plus, then got a set of Andersen levelers. I liked the concept so much that I got Andersen's Rapid Jack which has more lift than TA Plus.
Rapid Jack
I do carry a bottle jack in case I lose both tires. - ItriedExplorer

Don't know what else it would have been...was fine before, not after. This was about a year after we got it. I'm the only one behind the wheel so I would know if we had hit something with it. Trailer was loaded for normal camping, no toys. It was tweaked in such a way that it would have been from backing into something, toed in and up. Wasn't hard to see when you got to looking at it right and didn't take long to wear the tire....3500lb axles...trailer should have had 4200's on it. I'm one of those that like a little extra capacity especially in the running gearItried wrote:

TrailerAis Plus works great, I did need a 2X under it with the TrailAir Counterpoint suspension. I would assume the same would work with the MorRyde IS.
I did that one time with a Keystone Passport Breakaway 25fq...ended up with a new axle as all the weight tweaked the axle...
must of been more than the drive on ramp, because I have had many times I have driven over things that put one tire off the ground with no damage. - stetwoodExplorerAll those 1 x 8 and 2 x 8 blocking that we carry to put under the jacks will lift the single trailer tire. I would have a problem in BOTH tires go out.

Just one more thing to carry and take up space, feel a 12 Ton Bottle jack is smaller and more useful.
Yes they are great! However, check them from time to time! I had a 12 ton bottle jack for an RV several years ago. Went to use the jack not long ago, and I guess the seals dried out and it would not work! - camperkilgoreExplorer

Technically true, but in practice there is no heat generated by moving down the road at highway speeds for long distances on just the one tire. Just supporting the rig while the other tire is changed, I don't think will cause a problem for the other tire, unless it is already damaged internally. Just my opinion and not based on any science.
