Toyhauler Ramp Support
I just received my 2014 Evergreen Amped Toyhauler which is awesome! After reading many posts via internet and other sources, I finally decided to make use of a pair of slideout supports to use for my ramp. I didn't want to drill any holes in my new rig for cables or chains to support my ramp door.
I purchased a pair of slideout supports along with two Walmart special Fram oil filter wrenches. I attached the oil filter wrenches to the flat round part of the slideout support using a liquid steel type of adhesive. I inverted the slideout support so the u shaped bracket that is suppose to attach to the slideout is actually on the ground as a base. The flat round part of the slideout support that was suppose to be used as the base on the ground is now going to be used to hold the donut on the ramp door.
So far these supports have worked on my ramp door while in dirt and also rocks. You can always make a larger base for the ground to use with the supports but so far this idea has held up for my ramp door.
