IIRC that is why keystone recalled them.......
Issue in my opinion isn't with transfer switch being faulty just faulty installation. Installers (not techs) just wired them up and didn't properly torque the screws down. Wires loosen causing arching/hotspots and wire insulation melted. (45 inch/lbs)
But some accounts indicate switches were faulty.
Install wires into terminals..........tighten screws
then after all wiring is done go back and retorque.
Now would also be a good time to check/tighten all wire connections in your AC Panel...circuit breakers, neutral/ground bus bars
AND converter battery cable connections.
