I have a question for you guys that bought the XTR. How big is your black holding tank? Livin Lite publishes 13 gallons. After two days with 4 people mine was full. Look under at the tank and it says 10 gallons right on it. Also my spare is not the same exact size of the 4 that are mounted on it. After a little research I find this is common?!?!?! Any thoughts as to why?

I think they did it for two reasons, keeping the ground clearance high and cost. I believe the diameter of the wheel is the same it may just be a tad narrower.

I'll have to crawl under to check the spare size next time I go to the storage yard. But, here are the tank specs:


53 gal. Fresh Water, 42 gal. Gray Water, and 32 gal. Black Water Tanks

Mine is also, 53F,42G,32B
My spare is full size, 225R15 I opt for a crank up.
Just put in some rubber floor tile that will soon be covered by a throw rug. I find the bare floor too tinny, the rubber is a great sound/heat insulator, turned on the AC in 90 degree day and it was actually cool inside the trailer.
Don't have to worry about denting the floor with the rubber down.3/8" thick.

We are in NJ approx 700 truck miles to ATC, used Uship.com to transport our VRV. No problems at all.

No doubt the bunks are easier with two. I can do it by myself, but it is better if my Wife is there to help. Looking forward to your pics!

Folding in the tip outs requires strength to hold up flap while tucking in fabric on one side and working to the other with the flap held in a partial close position. The task may get easier as I practice more.

I've only used mine once, but it was in a really bad storm with rain for many hours straight through the night. Not one single leak. Only problem I've had is the motorized vent over the sink will not open with the switch. Not sure what is wrong.
