Washer in a 5th wheel Help Needed

We Park Host with a couple who have a washer & dryer in their unit and they prefer apartment size HE washer & dryer. Uses less water and dry's the clothes better without the wrinkle issue of an RV dryer.

Thanks for this. I never would have thought about the winterizing on a washer until the end of the season and then would not have know the proper way.

We can dry on a drying rack behind the camper but not out in the open. We have a small area that can not be seen. The camper we will be getting has all hookups in it already so that is one thing that we dont have to worry about. Seems like a lot of people like the Splendide and if we cant get an apartment size that will fit we will def. go with that but I am hoping for a apartment size to save on money. Plus I do not want a dryer to save on electric. I can always use the dryer at our campground if I need to in the rain.

Thanks Aridon. We def want to go residential as those are less expensive. The camper will already have a washer and dryer hookup even though we probably will not be doing a dryer to save on electric. I will have to check on the width of the doors and I looked at the width and depth of the one you posted and with the depth being slimmer I am more at ease with finding one that will fit fine.

I sure would love a dishwasher but we only turn our hot water on once a day when we shower and other than that I have an electric tea kettle to heat hot water for dishes once a day. We are buying the camper with residential refrid. and since we park it and do not tow it we should not need the adapter or whatever they call it to keep it running if you are towing. Hope that we can buy without it.

You can add it whenever you want. The hardest part is running the water and drain but there are ways you can add that yourself easily even if plumbing is NOT available. varies by brand/type. I have the separate stackable units. For mine, you run hot water wash cycle until you see A/F in drum, then run drain/spin, then do the same for cold cycle, drain/spin. its important to run the drain spin, so that the drain pump gets A/F through it too.
