- naytherExplorerFinally got some pis of my compressor install. It's been in there for over a year but had the propane tanks out to fix the jack so thought I'd snap a couple of photos.
Here's the compressor as it sits, note the unistrut on the bottom that spans the TH frame, regular strut nuts are used to bolt it down. You can't see it but there's a duplex outlet on the bulkhead between the compressor and generator that's wired into the generator so anytime its plugged in and the generator is running I have air. Might change that so its connected to shore power also.
Here you can see a detail of how it's piped. I used a regular plumbing S.S. flex line to connect the tank to the PVC, then ran one pipe to each side plus the front with quick disconnects.

Whatcha gettin?
I almost had my DW talked into a boat like that, told her it would be a good family boat, etc. then she found out it had a whipple charged 502 and she knew my real motive. Oh well, couldn't afford it anyway.

- 1L243Explorer IIIt was originally 18'x 26' with 8' legs. It has a center height of 11'. When I bought the longer TH I had them come out and add another 10'. So now it is 18' x 36'. I was going to have them add 12 foot legs but it was not cost effective. They wanted to take the entire thing down and build it again. The story here is to get the biggest stucture you can fit or afford. You may get a bigger rig in the future and you will be ready for it. The initial cost was $1800 and then $600 for the added 10'.
