Winnebago Spyder or Coachmen 26CB?

Hello Everyone......I finally narrowed my choices on a new TH. I'm trying to decide between the Spyder 28SC or the Coachmen 26CB. I plan on hauling my street bike, mountain bikes, a couple of Kayaks, and if the wife permits, a Can AM Spyder :) Not all at the same time of course.

The one thing I'm hung up on with the Spyder 28SC is the rear slide in the Garage area, to me this seems to take away a lot of space when the slide is in. This almost makes me want to go with the Spyder 24FQ but the kitchen counter space is lacking.

Does anyone here have a similar floor plan? Do you have to move your slide out first to put your big toys in?

I don't see a lot of information out on the 26CB, but I do like the floor plan.

We are also looking at the Spyder 28SC. It seems to check all the boxes for us. Hoping somebody who owns one can give an unbiased opinion of the build quality.
By the way this is a great community.
Here is a link with a good description of the slide mechanism around 7:15

Thanks for the link, that does clear things up. The other thing I noticed in the video he said the side was optional, I didn't know that since every 28SC I've seen for sale has one.

I've lurked on this site for a while and have been amazed at the helpful information given.

Typical salesmanship. Seems like most of these salespeople think they can sell ice to an Eskimo, that said it's four hours north or south to go check out the Spyder first-hand and I would prefer not to be disappointed when I arrive at the dealership.

That is rather odd, but if you don't need the full width it's pretty nice. We don't have a lot of counter space in our RV, so we bought a large over the stove cutting board with the anti-slip pad, when we don't use our stove we can use it if we are using the stove we can place it over the sink. Trade off's with anything just need to figure out what you are willing to give up.

That's a good idea, we really don't need a whole lot of space. I just wanted a spot to put the coffee maker and a small area to prep for food.

The slide is only as deep as your refrigerator. It would be an issue hauling a car, but bikes and open wheeled vehicles (buggies & UTV's) should clear. Yes, you may need to open the slide to load and unload toys if they are wider. I had a similar layout in my Weekend Warrior.

Thanks Bedlam, nice toys. I don't see myself getting a RZR anytime soon, I'm told I already have too many toys. II was wondering if a Can-AM Spyder would fit but looks like you have no problem fitting your sand rails.
