A poster, not me, asked a legitimate question about the brand. You were the one who, given two opportunities, still didn't answer it easily and directly. Then you get upset with the poster because he couldn't read your mind. Go figure.

I didn't read it as levity, rather obtuseness. Yes, life is too short, but only by 1 "o". :) See, that's levity. :)

OLD-Biscuit please do not get me wrong, But don't you read the posts? I have responded twice to this question already! I guess you need to see thing written out in detail to understand! I have responded with "The other Goodrich.." If you can not fill in the blanks I will try and explain it too you, I posted just after returning from a 10 hour trip, where I had a blow out doing damage to my RV on the interstate. Because of traffic I had to call and get someone to come out, remove the blown tire and put on a spare, then, I found out two other tires were about to blow forcing me to purchase 4 new tires. I happened to purchase "G" rated tires, which I did not intend this post to be about. I was upset, and tired and probably should have posted this later when my head was clear, but since my intent was a warning to others to get substantial tires for their rig from the start, and bite the bullet on tires that outwardly look ok, I did not think the type tires I had to buy after the incident was consequential I mistakenly wrote Goodrich, instead of Goodyear! I really hope this clears everything up for you, if not please ask your question again!!!

Trailer tires experience significant lateral (side-to-side) loads due to vehicle sway from uneven roads or passing vehicles. Using the inflation pressure engraved on the sidewall will provide optimum load carrying capacity and minimize heat build-up

Of course Goodyear is talking about tires that match the trailers GAWRs with lets say a 10-12 percent reserve capacity

That's who my "e" mail came from. So like any manufacturer I guess it depends on who you talk to or who gets the "e" mail.

When I changed from the original tires to the GY's my local dealer gave me the chart as a reference. I also contacted GY Customer Service and was told to go by the chart depending on the weight of the trailer.

The "motorized" thing doesn't make sense as most of those tires sizes would never be used on any motorized units.
