5er trailer tire blowout on I 10 4/6/2015
We unfortunately exercised our CW/GoodGriefSam Elite Member Road Service Policy with extended warranty and tire protection pkg.
After paying cash upfront for policy, we had to pay for tire and service call upfront with a credit card to get the road service. The actual service call took less than 30 mins for service truck to arrive and lo and behold tire guy arrives with a tire that is not what I paid for, but a lessor quality tire. This is after 4hrs of bs with service reps of GS and Safeguard Product International getting "approval" of services ! So just your policy number is not approval ? Then pay 416 $ for somehing not yet done. Then get the wrong tire? Tire guy runs off to get proper tire. Back in another 30 mins and installs tire in a jiffy. This all in 90? humidity off a buzy interstate near Tallahassee.
I'm told I must pay so that I can get reimbursed, duh ! Good Sam rep refused to speak with Safeguard rep. Safeguard rep says no reimbursement unless they speak to Good sam roadside asst. people. Yeesch! So now , after all done and over, and another half dozen phone query, still no reimbursement. Today the Safeguard rep said Good Sam never confirmed the transaction !
SOMEBODY HELP ME! This event exceeds the limitations of my medication, as I'm still recovering from the appalling service from Chattanooga Camping World.
