Twice a year is a lot in my mind. In the end the numbers just won't add up. They cannot afford to keep you.
Assuming your dues are $150.00 per year and your service calls were at least $200.00 per year. If you were actually towed your service call fees are actually higher.
Using the above numbers they lost $50.00 per year on your membership.
No one is in business to lose money. At some point they must cut their losses.
Looks like they drew the line at 3 years.

Funny, but I was just reading through the brochure for the Platinum + RSA, and no where in it did it say that, "If you use this service more than X times within a given time frame, you will be dropped for overuse of the program"...Even in the fine print at the bottom of the pages. Also, it says nothing in the brochure about "Excessive Use" or that "Excessive Use will cause you to be dropped".
Mind you though, it did say (taken from the brochure)
"Membership is subject to cancellation by either party at any time for any reason, upon written notification. The cancellation of a membership includes the Member, Associates, Extended Family Members and all other individuals eligible for benefits under the membership. All benefits will cease when the membership expires or either party cancels. Should either party cancel, the Member will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of his/her membership term, without any deductions."So in reading that, it basically gives GS the option to cancel you, for any reason, at any time...Period. Whether you use the service once, 10 times, or
Never.
So what is to stop them from saying,
Hey, we don't like that your from (Enter home address here)! CANCELLED!
We don't like the color of your Travel Trailer! CANCELLED!
Oh My God! You don't wax your RV 4 times a year with a specific wax only available at your local Camping World!! CANCELLED!
Now, would they do this? Who knows, most likely not...they want your money. But with this option, it gives them the right to tell you to go pack sand and there is not a single thing you can do about it (unless there is a legal recourse that some hotshot lawyer can find).
Please remember that when you tell someone they are abusing a policy for which they have paid. Nowhere in the brochure does it say you are limited in the number of times you can use said services. The person who sold my RSA policy to me at CW said it is like an insurance policy. You might not need it, but when you do, thank God you have it. But she never said that if I were to use it more than X number of times I would get dropped. Luckily for me, I never needed it.
I have not and will not renew mine again...it is a service that is only worth the paper it is printed on...
