Extended Service Plan avoids responsibility

I bought an Used RV from Camping World in Arizona in late spring and purchased their ESP. On our first long trip in June, the kitchen Faucit developed a leak. we took it to the Albequerque Camping World to get fixed. We had to wait the entire day to get it fixed. It seems that their repair coordinator left for the day before noon and had not bothered to call the ESP for authorization. She had also not passed the work order on to anyone else. They forgot I was there. After getting a new coordinator, they fixed the leak but denied the claim. They said it must have frozen which makes it my fault. Now figure this out. I buy an RV in Arizona from CW when the temperature is in th 80s, store it and travel when the temp is 60 - 110, and it froze. It seems their plan is to delay and then deny claims. What a disappointment.

  • Not surprised as that is the tactic many extended warranty companies utilize making most ESP contracts virtually worthless. You would think that CW wouldn't pull such shenanigans but unfortunately we have heard this before. Here's hoping you get a resolution that restores your faith (although they left you hanging at their service department all day) in CW, at least where they can save face here on the forum.
  • If this post is for real, I would question why you would take it to a dealer for such a seemingly simple problem.
