Just got off the phone with a GMAC/NG Representative, and she was as nice as could be! She told me that she had been contacted by Good Sam, with regard to a thread on RV.net, where I had complained about having to go through several people to be able to pay my insurance.
Well, it turns out that she tells me that North Carolina is a bit strange, and so they have to have a "commercial" policy for the RVs...so it had to be processed through a different company (ClearsideGeneral).....and that in the future, I should got through Clearside rather than GMAC/NG for on-line stuff.
It was very nice to know that they care enough to go through the efforts to contact me (though a bit "Big Brother":)), since I wasn't the one contacting them....They only had my name and city.....had to go that extra mile!

I didn't hear anything g about a commercial policy, but you are right, nc is different than most others. We could not put the motorhome on the same policy as the TT. I figured it was like auto insurance and you had to basically have the same coverage across them.
