Good Sams GMAC vs Progressive

I would not go with Good Sam/GMAC. I and others have had trouble with them raising rate for no apparent reason. After you have been with them, you can expect to get a BIG rate increase. When I received my renewal my rate went up over 60% with absolutely NO changes. Same coverage, excellent credit rating, no accidents or citations. They said that they 're-rated' my coach (what ever that means) which is why my rate went up. Others have had the same thing happen to them. Here's a link to the posting that I replied to a while ago. I would not buy anything from Progressive Insurance unless you support Radical Causes like they do.

The way I read your post is that you already have ins with GMAC on your toad so I am assuming that your RV is also. Did progressive include the toad or just the RV???
I just recieved my renewal form GMAC. Had a $300.00 yr DROP!!!! with two vehicles and TT. That was after $800.00 less than State Farm 2 years ago. That is $1900.00 GMAC has saved me in two years.

We have had Progressive Insurance for years, and we are extremely happy with their service. They are fast, efficient and great communicators. I believe that one reason for their representatives great service, is that they are happy with their jobs. I believe it must be a great company to work for! I was impressed, but not surprised to see that they also support the same causes my family does. They support workers' causes. They actually care about workers, including their own employees, and it shows. Another bonus to spending my money with them!

Welcome to the forum and I see that this is your first post. Do you have any connection to Progressive other than insurance coverage?

What insurance company would you recommend for a fulltimer? I have not heard good things about Good Sam, GMAC or progressive so I am looking for any help.:h
