In today's electronic world, this is bad business practice. Once a payment clears the bank of origin, there is no reason for more than 24/48 hours to finish with receiving bank. A month is ridiculous. That means they get your money and you do not get the use of the card. If they keep up this kind of practice, you might reevaluate whether the perks are worth it.
